BPJS KESEHATAN

Indonesia Health Insurance

Company has an obligation to get health insurance for the employee (including director and commissars). When you register with your company for health insurance, you will have an online account called EDABU.

BPJS Kesehatan covers pregnancy, medical illness, dental care, mental illness, cancer, non-cosmetic surgery.

BPJS Kesehatan does not cover road accidents and work accidents.

BPJS Kesehatan will cover the workers, their spouse and underage kid medical care, if they registered by the company.

 

Monthly Cost

5% from Salary (min. input Standard Bali Wages), max. 600,000 rupiah

4% paid by the company, 1% deducted from employee salary if necessary.

Salary less than 4,000,000 rupiah, will get BPJS Level 2 (shared room with other patients, less facilities)

Salary more than 4,000,000 rupiah, will get BPJS Level 1 (private room)

 

Calculation

Standard Bali Salary 3,200,000 rupiah, pay monthly 160,000, BPJS Level 2

Salary 4,000,000, pay monthly 200,000, BPJS Level 2

Salary 6,000,000, pay monthly 300,000, BPJS Level 1

Salary 50,000,000, pay monthly 600,000, BPJS Level 1
